Professor John Steinbruner has been selected as one of six Distinguished Scholar-Teachers for 2007-08. The Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Program honors senior faculty who combine outstanding scholarly accomplishment with excellence in teaching. Distinguished Scholar-Teachers make a public presentation on a topic within their scholarly discipline, and may also be asked to participate in one or more programs for faculty or students in which they will share their expertise in establishing productive research prgrams and in developing successful teaching methods and approaches. The award carries an honorarium of $5000 to support professional activities.
