R. Denise Williamson, Communications Manager, serves as the School's liaison to the campus community, the media, and outside constituencies. She also serves as editor of the School's newsletter, Four One One, and assists with the design and implementation of other publications and the website.

She joined the School in 1988, bringing with her over 20 years of administrative experience. During the University's budget crisis in 1992, she created Four One One as an in-house newsletter to boost employee morale. The newsletter received national recognition for its February 1993 issue when it was featured in Newsletter Design, a magazine that reviews newsletters, and received an "excellent" rating. Four One One has since become one of the MSPP's major outreach publications. She has also written articles for The Diamondback , College Park Magazine, and Outlook.

Rev. Williamson is an ordained minister and serves on the ministerial staff of First Baptist Church of Guilford. She conducts a workshop entitled Becoming A Whole Woman © for churches in the Washington-Metropolitan area. She is currently pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies at Evangel Theological Seminary. An article on Rev. Williamson's ministry was written in Outlook.
