Tracy M. Gordon is an assistant professor in the School of Public Policy and teaches courses in public finance, public management, and social policy. Before joining the MSPP community, she was a research fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California. She has authored reports and journal articles on state and local budgeting, local property taxes, the local initiative process, and so-called "private governments" or common interest developments. She holds a B.A. in human biology from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in public policy with a concurrent M.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
