CATEGORY: Full-time, twelve month appointment
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Coordinator for Admissions and Student Affairs supervises front desk operations for Student Affairs, manages the day to day administration of the School of Public Policy's admissions process, coordinates academic programs including orientation and open house events, maintains a centralized calendar and organizational system for fall recruitment travel and develops web content for Student Affairs. T he incumbent screens and responds to all Student Affairs inquiries while providing programmatic information regarding admissions requirements, academic policies, and program content. Additionally, the Coordinator for Admissions and Student Affairs manages all yield activities, represents Student Affairs at campus meetings, supervises student workers and assists in student recruitment activities as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Interest and/or experience in higher education administration or student services and at least 2 years full-time administrative experience necessary. Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required. Must be able to prioritize tasks, work independently, provide outstanding customer service and handle confidential and sensitive information with tact and discretion. Must work effectively with diverse faculty, staff and student populations and be accurate and flexible. Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications and web development software is desired.
SALARY RANGE : Low 40's
