April 25 - Dr. Steven J. Smith, Joint Global Change Research Institute (JGCRI), Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and University of Maryland "Long-Term Scenarios of Renewable Electricity Generation" The potential future role of wind and solar electricity generation will be discussed. Results from the ObjECTS MinICAM long-term integrated assessment model will be presented, including the methods used to project renewable energy generation. Major issues associated with the large-scale use of wind and solar energy will be discussed. |
