Military Asset Management Program

 
     
 

 
Overview
Partnering with the U.S Army. The program builds understanding between the public and private sectors about the keys to success in on-post housing. The program provides government professionals with the basic knowledge and skills critical to representing the service branches and the Department of Defense responsibly through privatization. All program participants will learn how to utilize asset management and housing finance principles to achieve good outcomes over the long term.

Program Content
The program consists of three courses delivered in a series of two, one-week residential programs, supplemented by web-based instruction. The three courses of the program are:

  • Leadership and Change Agency;
  • Housing Finance;
  • and Asset Management.

Both residential weeks contain elements of all the courses at three levels of learning: introductory, intermediate and advanced.

Class sessions include lectures from University faculty and public and private sector practitioners, team-based problem solving exercises, case studies, and field trips.

Location
All program sessions will be held at the Maritime Institute, in Linthicum Heights, MD(Near Baltimore Washington International Airport).
