OEP's custom programs are developed in partnership with the client to respond directly to the client's perception of results needed. OEP supports the objectives of federal government agencies and national non-profits, which must provide their nationally distributed work forces with understandings appropriate to the 21st century. The Office works with state and local agencies, particularly in Maryland , to provide a base of understanding about how these agencies must adapt to federal devolution and local pressures for more responsive government. OEP is the place to go for the development of problem-solving skills for local non-profits, foundations and communities facing internal impasses that threaten their well-being, and OEP educates for-profit companies in the areas in which those companies are striving to positively impact the public interest.
