Master's Programs: Mid-Career (MPM)

The School of Public Policy has two tracks of its Masters of Public Management degree program for students with the equivalent of five full years of public management and policy-related experience at the start of their program.

The policy-track of the Master of Public Management Program is designed for academically well-prepared students who are interested in developing in-depth policy analytical skills with a focus in environmental policy, international development, international security and economic policy, social policy, and/or management, finance and leadership. The policy track is offered on the College Park campus throughout the day and early evening, with most courses offered 4:15 PM or later. Courses are paid for on a per credit bassis at standard MSPP master's tuition rates . The curriculum requirements are nearly identical to the early-career Master of Public Policy program except students need only complete 36 credits.
