Purpose

GWIPP was established to promote the presence and contributions of women in the public policy field.

The organization works to serve students as students and as professionals; to develop a community built on relationships among students and alumni of the University of Maryland School of Public Policy; to provide personal and professional development for its members; to encourage women's representation among the faculty and in MSPP decision-making, and to empower women leaders.
